专利说明:

[1] [0001] ln the sale of loose foodstuff products or commodities which are sold by weight or per piece, such as, for example, sweets, tea, grains, nuts and the like, devices which allow the customer to pickor scoop up the desired quantity of product or commodity himself are sometimes employed. Thecustomer transfers the desired quantity from a storage container placed in the store to a bag or thelike, which is subsequently taken to the till for weighing or counting as well as for payment. Wherethe store provides several varieties of a certain product, it is usual for a number of storagecontainers corresponding to the number of product varieties to be placed adjacent to one another, often in a matrix containing horizontal rows and vertical columns of containers. The customer canthen simply pick the desired quantity of each product variety and transfer it to a common bag formixing the product varieties. This type of sale of sell-by-weight loose foodstuff products or byquantity products allows an effective utilization of space for the storekeeper, as well as lowpackaging consumption and wide freedom of choice for the customer to buy the desired quantityand product mix. By suitable shaping of the containers, it is also possible for the products to bedisplayed in a clear and appealing manner, which provides good customer information and, moreover, can help to promote increased sales.
[2] [0002] Device system for storing and dispensing foodstuff products consisting of a dispenser partand a foodstuff container part. Such systems are often used to dispense candy or nuts which aresold per weight unit or in numbers. This system is however not limited to these products. The systemhere disclosed can also be used to dispense products such as olives, pieces of meat, cheese, cucumber etc. lt can also be used to dispense smaller toys etc.
[3] [0003] This embodiment suggests a foodstuff dispensing device system whereas two or moreconveyor belts are working together to dispense foodstuff. The conveyor belts are aligned totransport the foodstuff products towards the dispenser opening. Further the conveyor belts arealigned to, over time, separate the foodstuff products from each another. This rotating mechanismalso reduces risk of foodstuff products sticking together. The conveyor belts and dispensing devicesystem housing are further aligned to ensure that older foodstuff products can not get stuck aroundedges.
[4] [0004] One major benefit of the system is that it is hygienic where the product can be concealed ina product box and then dispensed without the risk of wrongfully touching other products andminimal risk of germs and bacteria entering the container. The cleaver design also revolves theproducts in the container to ensure that all products are kept equally fresh. The system is furtherhygienic to reduce spread of bacteria and diseases which can be the case in traditional opendispenser container systems.
[5] [0005] The foodstuff dispensing device system can further be placed in a refrigerated room orsystem. A retractable door can be placed directly in front of the two conveyor belts [110, 112]. Thepurpose of such door is to close the opening when not dispensing foodstuff products. ln this way thedispensing system will be sealed when not dispensing, which allows for the foodstuff products toremain fresh longer.
[6] [0006] The bottom [108, 800] allows the dispensing system to be pushed into a rail fixation system[801]. Similar fixation systems are commonly used for product shelf systems in a store. The backplate or the bottom [108, 800] can also include a fixation system which allows the dispenser to clickinto the shelving system. The fixation system can further include a spring mount for easy removal ofthe dispenser system. When the bottom [108, 800] is pushed back thru the guided rill [801] clicksound can be audible to ensure that the front wall [109] and bottom [108, 800] is pushed into thecorrect position.
[7] [0007] On the top front of the dispensing system a door or hatch [113, 700] can be opened. Suchhatch [113, 700] can be lowered when a foodstuff container is placed on top of the dispensingsystem. Such hatch can after that the foodstuff container has been placed on top of the dispensersystem be raised and snapped into the foodstuff container. ln one embodiment such hatch is clickedinto the foodstuff container using two spikes [701].
[8] [0008] The system creates three movements of the foodstuff products. The first movement iswhere the conveyor belt is transporting products forward and out between the two conveyor belts[105][106]. The second movement is created from the slightly angled almost vertical conveyor belt[105] and the horizontal conveyor belt [106] which together rotates the foodstuff product. The frontconveyor belt [105] is in this case pushing products backwards. A third movement part is created bythe foodstuff pressing down into the dispenser system from the top. lf a separate container is to beused it is prefera ble to be fixated firmly towards the dispensing system. ln another embodiment noseparate container is needed and the dispensing system here described contains the foodstuffproduct.
[9] [0009] The vertical leveller system [603] which is part of the grip [107, 600], of the dispensingfoodstuff system, allows for easy dispensing of foodstuff products without foodstuff product beingtouched. Such leveller [603] can also be made large to improve usability for people with dexterityproblems or other disabilities. ln one example the leveller [603], as part of the grip [107, 600]require a semi-vertical pressure, slightly pushing downwards to the side. Preferable the mechanismallows the leveller [603] to return to a first position once the leveller [603] has been pushed downand then released.
[10] [0010] A retractable door can be placed directly in front of the two conveyor belts [110, 112]. Thepurpose of such door is to close the opening or squeeze the foodstuff products not fully dispensed.ln this way the dispensing system will be sealed when not dispensing, which allows for the foodstuffproducts to stay fresh longer.
[11] [0011] This foodstuff dispensing system is preferable used in combination with (sealed) foodstuffcontainer as part of a two part dispensing system solution. Such solution improves the hygienicfactor. ln one example a standardized size of the container is used.
[12] [0012] ln one example the foodstuff dispensing system can be activated by phone or any wired orremote system. With the disclosed embodiment, handling of the containers during filling, emptyingand cleaning is also enabled in a simple and ergonomically advantageous manner.
[13] [0013] ln figure 1 is shown a system [100] according to one aspect of the invention. The system[100] comprises of a cavity container created by the bottom [108, 800] left side [110] and right side[112], the back [111] and front [109] walls. The walls create a cavity container which can partlycontain the foodstuff products.
[14] [0014] The bottom [108, 800] rill [801] allows the dispensing system to be pushed into a rail fixationsystem. The back plate [111] or the bottom [108, 800] can also include a fixation system whichallows the dispenser to click into the shelving system. The fixation system can further include aspring mount for easy removal of the dispenser system.
[15] [0015] The dispensing system have a front portion wall [109], which is intended to be facingtowards an aisle or the like in which the customers are located when they pick up loose foodstuffproducts from the system. A separate container, not part of this embodiment, can be placed on topof the dispensing system. On the top front of the dispensing system, in figure 1, a door or hatch[113] can be opened. A more detailed view of such door can also be studied in figure 7. Such hatch[113,700] can be lowered when a foodstuff container is placed on top of the dispensing system. Suchhatch [113, 700] can after that the foodstuff container has been placed be raised and snapped intothe foodstuff container. ln one embodiment such hatch is clicked into the foodstuff container usingtwo spikes [701]. The lower rear conveyor belt [106] transports foodstuff towards the front. Aslightly angled almost vertical standing conveyor belt [105] lifts excessive foodstuff upwards andtowards the rear. The angle of such conveyor belt is preferable about 71.5 degrees when dispensingcandy or similar foodstuff products. Any angle between at least, but not limited to, 60 to 75 degreesrelative the horizontal plane can be considered depending on what product to dispense. ln oneembodiment this angle can be adjusted depending on product. This will create a rotation of thefoodstuff in the container ensuring equal freshness of such foodstuff products as well as ensuredispensing foodstuff individually or in small number of units. This system further acts as separatorwhen two or more products get stuck to each other. The distance between the two conveyor belts[105][106] can be adjusted in some applications. ln one example when the dispensing system is usedfor candy products the distance between such conveyor belts [105][106] is, but not limited to, about 35 mm. ln another example one or both sides of the opening created between the two conveyorbelts [105][106] can be adjusted using, as example, a small block fixated in the left [110] or right side[112] of the dispensing system. For candy products such opening between left [110] and right side[112] can be, but not limited to, about 55 mm.
[16] [0016] A retractable door can be placed directly in front of the two conveyor belts [110, 112]. Suchdoor can close the opening when foodstuff products are not dispensed. ln this way the dispensingsystem will be sealed when not dispensing which allows for the foodstuff products to stay freshlonger.
[17] [0017] The front portion wall [109], walls [110, 112] and bottom [108, 800] further defines a lowerpick out opening where foodstuff will be released when pressing down the grip [107]. This opening isexpediently wider in dimensions than the distance selected between the two conveyor belts[105][106].
[18] [0018] Pressing down [1101] the grip [107] creates a rotation [1102] of the large gear [103] whichpowers the lowest drive shaft [101A] which will also make the back drive shaft [101D] rotate throughthe movement of the conveyor belt [106]. The large gear [103, 300] further rotates [1103] the smallgears [102A, 102B] thru a section of teeth [303] which will rotate the middle drive shaft [101B]which further rotates the front conveyor belt [105]. Pressing down the grip [107] will in such a waycreate a forward transportation by the lower rear conveyor belt [106] of foodstuff products.
[19] [0019] The system creates three movements of the foodstuff products [1104]. The first movementis where the conveyor belt is transporting products forward and out between the two conveyor belts[105][106]. The second movement is created from the slightly angled almost vertical conveyor belt[105] and the horizontal conveyor belt [106] which together rotates the foodstuff product. The frontconveyor belt [105] is in this case pushing products backwards. A third movement part is created bythe foodstuff pressing down into the dispenser system from the top. lf a separate container is to beused it is preferable to be fixated firmly towards the dispensing system.
[20] [0020] The strap support [104] creates support to the conveyor belts [105][106] and is in oneexample moulded into or is part of the wall on either side. ln one example the rear [111], front[109], bottom [108, 800] and one side wall [110 or 112] is casted in one tool as one piece.
[21] [0021] The grip [107, 600] can be designed to cover the gears. A rubber band, or similar, is placedbetween the grip [601] and a small spike on the side wall [110]. When the grip [107,600] is pusheddown the grip [107] will grab hold of the large gear [103, 300] thru four power hooks which can beseen in figure 6 [602] onto the outer teeth of the large gear [302]. When the grip [107, 600] isreleased the rubber band, or similar, will allow the grip [107, 600] to move back to start position[1105].
[22] [0022] The lower smaller gear [102A] is located on an axis which is placed into or part of the sidewall [110]. The upper smaller gear [102B, 200] includes a smaller plastic extension on one side [201]which is partly covered by the side wall. This smaller gear [102, 200] is fastened thru a side wallopening and into the drive shaft [101B].
[23] [0023] ln one example the body of the dispensing system is only consisting of two major parts [110,112] [900,1000]. ln such example the bottom [800, 1002] and other parts can be part of one of theside walls [1000]. One side [110, 1000] is fixated towards the other side using three or more screws[901, 1001] counter sunk into the side material.
[24] [0024] ln one example a bolt or screw is used to fixate the grip [107, 600]] thru the large gear [103,300] and axel of the large gear [301] towards the side wall [110] and into the drive shaft [101A]. Thebolt or screw is preferable unthreaded closest to the grip [107] to allow the grip to move.
[25] [0025] Left wall is fixated towards body house thru a small rill between the two. One of them hassuch rill inwards and one outwards. Extra goods on the side wall can be added when mountedtowards the body house to add additional stability between the two parts.
[26] [0026] The upper front wall [109] can be fixed to the front edges of the side walls [110, 112] thrurills on the side walls [110, 112]. ln another example the upper front wall [109] can be part of oneside wall [112]. Fixating bolts [901, 1001] can be used from both sides to fixate the system. lnanother embodiment such fixating bolts [901] is only used from one side. The upper edges of theside, front and back walls [110, 112, 109, 111] can have cut outs, flanges or dints on which aseparate foodstuff container can be placed.
[27] [0027] ln one example the foodstuff system walls and bottom [109, 110, 111, 112, 108] isexpediently made of a transparent polymer material, which can allow display of the foodstuffproduct through the container walls. ln another example the foodstuff system walls and bottom[109, 110, 111, 112, 108] is expediently made of a non transparent polymer material. ln one examplethese are based of an injection moulded acrylic material.
[28] [0028] Information about the product can be placed on the front or in a small pocket right behindthe front. A LED or other lightening system can be used to improve visual appearance, to improvereadability or to better attract attention. ln another example the foodstuff product can be placed orreleased into such pocket to represent the foodstuff products being sold.
[29] [0029] The bottom [108, 800] also allows the dispensing system to be pushed into a fixing bracketof a pull-out type which can be part of a rail fixation system. The back plate [111] or the bottom[108, 800] can also include a fixation system which allows the dispenser to click into the shelvingsystem. The fixation system can further include a spring mount for easy removal of the dispensersystem. When the bottom [108, 800] is pushed back thru the guided rill [801] a click sound can beaudible to ensure that the front wall [109] and bottom [108] is pushed into the correct position.[0030] Material of conveyor belt is preferable food grade rubber. Other materials can also beconsidered such as plastic, silicone, metallic etc. Distance between rills [401, 501] on the conveyorbelts can be, but is not limited to, about 17 mm cc, height about 5 mm when using sweets. For otherfoodstuff products larger dimension is preferred, as example, but is not limited to, about 34 mmbetween. Height in that case can in one example be, but is not limited to, from about 5 mm to about50 mm.
[31] [0031] ln one embodiment the lower conveyor belt [106] of the dispensing system is protractedbeyond the frontal portion of the bottom [108]. This allows product fragments from the dispensingsystem to be emptied together with foodstuff product thru the front opening.
[32] [0032] ln an alternative solution it can be considered to power the conveyor belts using anelectrical motor. ln such application the grip [107, 600]or part of the grip [107, 600] can be replacedwith a button.
[33] [0033] Some illustrative embodiments of the invention have been described above. However, theinvention is not limited to the above-given description, but can be freely varied within the scope ofthe following patent claims.
